✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while we were sitting on a carpet, 'There will be a tribulation.' They said, 'What should we do, O Messenger of Allah?' He moved his hand to the carpet and grasped it, saying, 'You will do like this.' And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned to them one day, 'There will be a tribulation,' but many of the people did not hear him. Mu'adh b. Jabal said, 'Do you not hear what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is saying?' They said, 'What did he say?' He said, 'There will be a tribulation.' They said, 'What should we do, O Messenger of Allah, or how should we act?' He said, 'Return to your first affair.'
