حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ قَالَ: نَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ: نَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
اتَّقُوا الظُّلْمَ، فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَاتَّقُوا الشُّحَّ، فَإِنَّ الشُّحَّ أَضَلَّ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ، حَمَلَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْ يَسْفِكُوا دِمَاءَهُمْ، وَاسْتَحَلُّوا مَحَارِمَهُمْ
Translation

✧ Beware of oppression, for oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of miserliness, for miserliness led astray those before you; it drove them to shed their blood and to make lawful what was forbidden to them.
