✧ Whoever keeps a dog that is neither a hunting dog nor a livestock dog, his reward decreases every day by a qirat." Then he mentioned that they were with the Messenger of God ﷺ on a journey, and they passed by the grave of Abu Righal. He said: "This is the grave of Abu Righal, and he is the father of Thaqif. He was a man from Thamud. His dwelling was within the sanctuary, and when God destroyed his people with what He destroyed them, he was protected by his place in the sanctuary. He went out until when he reached here he died and was buried, and a branch of gold was buried with him." So we hastened to it and extracted it.
