✧ It is not lawful for a woman to fast in the presence of her husband except with his permission, and whatever she gives in charity from his earnings, half of it belongs to him. She was created from a rib; if you are gentle with it, you will enjoy it, but if you try to straighten it, you will break it, and its breaking is divorcing her.
