حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، نَا وَهْبٌ، نَا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، نَا نَاجِيَةُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ الْوَجْهَ ثَلَاثًا، وَالذِّرَاعَيْنِ ثَلَاثًا، وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ، وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ ثَلَاثًا إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ فَضْلَ وَضُوئِهِ فَشَرِبَهُ قَائِمًا، وَقَالَ: " هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَنَعَ
Translation

✧ I saw ʿAli perform ablution: he washed the face three times, the forearms three times, wiped his head, and washed the feet three times up to the ankles. Then he took the leftover water of his ablution and drank it while standing, and said: "Thus I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ do."
