✧ He used to command the killing of all snakes, until Abu Lubabah b. 'Abd al-Mundhir informed him that the Prophet ﷺ forbade killing the snakes that are in houses. And he narrated that the Prophet ﷺ went to touch the Black Stone, and a scorpion stung him, so he said: "What is the matter with you? May God curse you! If you would have left anyone, you would have left the Prophet ﷺ."
