حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ الرَّمْلِيُّ، نَا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

ذَنْبٌ يُغْفَرُ، وَذَنْبٌ لَا يُغْفَرُ، وَذَنْبٌ يُجَازَى بِهِ، فَأَمَّا الذَّنْبُ الَّذِي لَا يُغْفَرُ فَالشِّرْكُ بِاللهِ، وَأَمَّا الذَّنْبُ الَّذِي يُغْفَرُ فَعَمَلُكَ فِيمَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ رَبِّكَ، وَأَمَّا الَّذِي تُجَازَى بِهِ فَظُلْمُكَ أَخَاكَ

Translation

✧ A sin that is forgiven, a sin that is not forgiven, and a sin for which one is requited. As for the sin that is not forgiven, it is associating partners with Allah. As for the sin that is forgiven, it is your deed between you and your Lord. As for the one for which you are requited, it is your wronging your brother.
