وَبِهِ: عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَزْدِيِّ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
عَطَسَ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَشَمَّتَ أَحَدَهُمَا وَلَمْ يُشَمِّتِ الْآخَرَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، شَمَّتَّ فُلَانًا وَلَمْ تُشَمِّتْنِي ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ حَمِدَ اللهَ، وَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تَحْمَدْهُ.

✧ Two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ. He said 'May God have mercy on you' to one of them and did not say it to the other. So the other said: 'O Messenger of God, you said it to so-and-so but did not say it to me?' He said: 'He praised God, but you did not praise Him.'
