حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رُسْتَهْ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، ثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ، نَا بُشَيْرُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ
أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ: هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَافِحُ ؟ فَقَالَ: مَا لَقِيَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ مَرَّةٍ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا صَافَحَنِي، غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَكَانَتْ أَجْوَدَهَا، دَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ، فَأَكْبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَالْتَزَمَنِي ".

✧ He was asked: Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shake hands? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never met me a single time that I greeted him except that he shook my hand, except for one time, and it was the most generous of them. I entered upon him while he was ill, and I leaned over him, and he embraced me.
