✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ suffered from a sore throat (al-'udhra) until it caused him a headache, and that was visible on him. Then Jibril came to him and said, 'Your Lord has sent me to you to perform ruqyah on you.' The Prophet ﷺ uncovered his head, and he said, 'In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah on you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every envious eye, I perform ruqyah on you.' He said, 'He repeated it three times, and the Prophet ﷺ was cured.'
