حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْجَوْهَرِيِّ، نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ابْنُ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هُرْمُزٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ قَرَأَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ آنِفًا فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " إِنِّي أَقُولُ: لَا أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ " وَانْتَهَى النَّاسُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ مَعَهُ حِينَ قَالَ ذَلِكَ ".

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed with his Companions, then said: "Did any of you just recite during the prayer?" They said: "Yes." He said: "I say: I should not be contended with in the Qur'an." And the people stopped reciting with him when he said that."
