حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ شُجَاعِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: نَا زِيَادُ بْنُ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ. عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنِّي فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ، وَإِنَّ بُعْدَ مَا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ كَمَا بَيْنَ صَنْعَاءَ وَأَيْلَةَ، وَإِنَّ الْأَبَارِيقَ فِيهِ بِعَدَدِ النُّجُومِ

✧ Indeed I am your forerunner at the Pond, and indeed the distance between its two ends is like the distance between Sana'a and Aylah, and indeed the pitchers in it are as numerous as the stars.
