حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْمَوَيْهِ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، ثَنَا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الطَّائِيُّ، نَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اكْسُنِي، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اكْسُنِي، فَقَالَ: أَمَا لَكَ جَارٌ لَهُ فَضْلُ ثَوْبَيْنِ ؟ قَالَ: بَلَى، غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ قَالَ: " فَلَا يَجْمَعُ اللهُ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ".

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, clothe me." He turned away from him. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, clothe me." He said: "Do you not have a neighbor who has an extra two garments?" He said: "Yes, more than one." He said: "Allah will not gather you and him together in Paradise."
