✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ married me to a woman who was either a hairdresser or a perfumer. The Prophet ﷺ saw me with perfume on and said, "Will you not wash off this stench from yourself?" or "Will you not wash off this filth from yourself?" So I went to a river and washed until the water turned yellow. Then I came to the Prophet ﷺ with traces still on me, and he said, "Go and wash it off." So I went and washed it, but it did not go away until I washed it with earth.
