حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:

رُبَّمَا دَعَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْغَدَاءِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْهُ، فَفَرَضَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الصَّوْمَ ".
