✧ God gave me the choice between forgiving half of my community or my intercession, and I chose my intercession, hoping that it would be more comprehensive for my community. Were it not for the righteous servant who preceded me, I would have hastened my supplication. When God relieved Isaac of the distress of the sacrifice, it was said to him: O Isaac, ask and you will be given. He said: By God, I will hasten it before the promptings of Satan. O God, whoever dies not associating anything with You and does good, forgive him and admit him to Paradise.
