حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَ: نَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيُّ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ. عَنْ عَابِسٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، يَقُولُ: يَتَخَوَّفُ عَلَى أُمَّتِهِ سِتَّ خِصَالٍ: " إِمْرَةُ الصِّبْيَانِ، وَكَثْرَةُ الشُّرَطِ، وَالرِّشْوَةُ فِي الْحُكْمِ، وَقَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِمِ، وَاسْتِخْفَافٌ بِالدَّمِ، وَنَشْءٌ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُرْآنَ مَزَامِيرَ، يُقَدِّمُونَ الرَّجُلَ لَيْسَ بِأَفْقَهِهِمْ، وَلَا أَعْلَمِهِمْ، وَلَا بِأَفْضَلِهِمْ، يُغَنِّيهِمْ غِنَاءً

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: He fears six traits for his Ummah: the leadership of youths, the proliferation of police, bribery in judgment, severing ties of kinship, taking blood lightly, and a generation who take the Qur’an as musical instruments, putting forward a man who is not the most learned in jurisprudence among them, nor the most knowledgeable, nor the most virtuous, to sing to them in song.
