حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نِسْطَاسٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مِرْبَعٌ، عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ، أُمِّ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَوْصِنِي. قَالَ: اهْجُرِي الْمَعَاصِي، فَإِنَّهَا أَفْضَلُ الْهِجْرَةِ، وَحَافِظِي عَلَى الْفَرَائِضِ، فَإِنَّهَا أَفْضَلُ الْجِهَادِ، وَأَكْثِرِي ذِكْرَ اللهِ، فَإِنَّكِ لَا تَأْتِينَ اللهَ بِشَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ ذِكْرِهِ

✧ She said: 'O Messenger of God, advise me.' He said: 'Abandon sins, for that is the best emigration. Guard the obligatory duties, for that is the best jihad. And increase in remembrance of God, for you will not come to God with anything more beloved to Him than abundance of His remembrance.'
