حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ، نَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ أَتَى كَاهِنًا فَصَدَّقَهُ بِمَا يَقُولُ، فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِمَّا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ، وَمَنْ أَتَاهُ غَيْرَ مُصَدِّقٍ لَهُ، لَمْ يُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا ".

✧ Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was sent down upon Muhammad ﷺ, and whoever goes to him without believing him, no prayer is accepted from him for forty days.
