  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationMūsā b. Aʿyan narrated it from al-Thawrī, saying: from Ibn Ṭāwūs, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. But he erred (wahima) in two places: in raising it to the Prophet (rafʿ), and in his saying "from Ibn Ṭāwūs", because this is from the hadith of Layth, and it is not authentic from Ibn Ṭāwūs.
