حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ، نَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا عَبْدُ الْحَكِيمِ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، نَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ ثَلَاثًا، وَهُنَّ كَائِنَاتٌ، زَلَّةُ عَالِمٍ، وَجِدَالُ مُنَافِقٍ بِالْقُرْآنِ، وَدُنْيَا تُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ.

✧ I fear for you three things, and they will surely occur: the slip of a scholar, the argument of a hypocrite using the Quran, and a worldly life that is opened up to you.
