حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِرْسٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، وَهُوَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ، وَيَدُهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبِ عَلِيٍّ: اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ، هَذَا ابْنُ عَمِّي وَأَبُو وَلَدِي، اللَّهُمَّ كُبَّ مَنْ عَادَاهُ فِي النَّارِ

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say during the Farewell Pilgrimage, while he was on his she-camel, his hand on ʿAlī's shoulder: 'O God, have I conveyed? O God, have I conveyed? This is my cousin and the father of my offspring. O God, overturn into the Fire whoever opposes him.'
