حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى الْغَسَّانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ:

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَعُودُهُ فِي مَرَضِهِ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ، أَمَا تُحِبُّ أَنْ تَصِحَّ، فَلَا تَمْرَضُ ؟ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ الصُّدَاعَ وَالْمَلِيلَةَ يُولَعَانِ بِالْمَرْءِ حَتَّى لَا يَدَعْنَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ

✧ I entered upon Abu al-Darda' to visit him in his illness and said: O Abu al-Darda', do you not like to be healthy so that you do not fall ill? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Headache and fever cling to a person until they do not leave upon him a sin equal to the weight of a mustard seed.
