حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ، عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ، يَتَطَيَّبُ ؟ فَقَالَتْ: " تَطَيَّبْ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا قَدَرْتَ عَلَيْهِ، وَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الطِّيبِ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ

✧ I asked Aisha ؓ about a man who wants to enter ihram and applies perfume. She said: 'Apply the best perfume you can, and it is as if I am looking at the gleam of perfume in the parting of the hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was in ihram.'
