✧ Among the supplications of Dawud the Prophet ﷺ was: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from wealth that becomes a trial for me, from a child who becomes a burden upon me, from an evil wife who brings on old age before its time, and I seek refuge in You from an evil neighbor whose eyes watch me and whose ears listen to me; if he sees a good deed, he buries it, and if he sees an evil deed, he spreads it.
