حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَنِيفَةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْجُورِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا حَفْصُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَا رَاحَ مُسْلِمٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، مُجَاهِدًا أَوْ حَاجًّا، مُهِلًّا أَوْ مُلَبِّيًا، إِلَّا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ بِذُنُوبِهِ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا

Translation

✧ No Muslim goes out in the path of Allah, as a fighter or a pilgrim, raising his voice in talbiya, except that the sun sets with his sins and he comes out of them.
