حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ الْغَنَوِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خُثَيْمِ بْنِ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ وِلَايَةً، وَكَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ، وُكِّلَ بِهِ مَلَكَانِ يُوَفِّقَانِهِ، وَيُرْشِدَانِهِ، وَمَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ شَيْئًا، وَكَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ، وَكَلَهُ اللهُ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ

✧ Whoever is placed in charge of any affair of the people with an intention for the truth, two angels are assigned to him to grant him success and guide him. And whoever is placed in charge of any affair of the people with an intention other than the truth, Allah leaves him to himself.
