حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ وَفَاةُ النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ: إِنَّ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ، فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ، فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ، وَالنَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ.

✧ When the death of the Negus reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: 'Your brother the Negus has died, so pray over him.' He stood and prayed over him, with the people behind him.
