حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَبَلَةَ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، عَنْ كَثِيرٍ أَبِي الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ، يَقُولُ:

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: أَيُّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا ؟ فَقُلْنَا: يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ، فَقَالَ: أَيُّ شَهْرٍ هَذَا ؟ فَقُلْنَا: ذُو الْحِجَّةِ، شَهْرٌ حَرَامٌ، قَالَ: فَأَيُّ بَلَدٍ هَذَا ؟ قُلْنَا: بَلَدٌ حَرَامٌ، قَالَ: فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ، عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا، أَلَا لِيُبَلِّغِ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and said: 'What day is this?' We said: 'The day of sacrifice.' He said: 'What month is this?' We said: 'Dhu al-Hijjah, a sacred month.' He said: 'What land is this?' We said: 'A sacred land.' He said: 'Indeed your blood, your wealth, and your honor are sacred to you like the sanctity of this day of yours in this month of yours in this land of yours. Let the witness convey to the absent.'
