حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ زِرٍّ وَأَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ:

كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ خَدَّيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ.

✧ It is as if I am looking at the whiteness of the cheeks of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he said the salam to his right: 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings,' and to his left: 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.'
