حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي، وَعَمِّي عِيسَى بْنُ الْمُسَاوِرِ، قَالَا: نَا رَوَّادُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ. عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
سَبْعَةٌ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ فِي الصَّبِيِّ يَوْمَ السَّابِعِ: يُسَمَّى، وَيُخْتَنُ، وَيُمَاطُ عَنْهُ الْأَذَى، وَتُثْقَبُ أُذُنُهُ، وَيُعَقُّ عَنْهُ، وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ، وَيُلَطَّخُ بِدَمِ عَقِيقَتِهِ، وَيُتَصَدَّقُ بِوَزْنِ شَعَرِهِ فِي رَأْسِهِ ذَهَبًا أَوْ فِضَّةً

✧ Seven things are from the sunnah for a child on the seventh day: he is named, circumcised, the harm is removed from him, his ear is pierced, an aqiqah is offered for him, his head is shaved, and he is smeared with the blood of his aqiqah, and charity is given of the weight of his hair in gold or silver.
