حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: نَا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ: ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ الْعَامِرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

أَنَّهُ نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ: " يَا مُحَمَّدُ، إِنْ سَرَّكَ أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللهَ حَقَّ عِبَادَتِهِ فَقُلِ: اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا خَالِدًا مَعَ خُلُودِكَ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا دَائِمًا لَا مُنْتَهَى لَهُ دُونَ مَشِيئَتِكَ، وَعِنْدَ كُلِّ طَرْفَةِ عَيْنٍ وَتَنَفُّسِ نَفْسٍ

✧ Gabriel ﷺ descended upon him and said: 'O Muhammad, if it pleases you to worship God with the worship due to Him, then say: O God, to You belongs praise, eternal praise with Your eternity; and to You belongs praise, everlasting praise that has no end apart from Your will; and at every glance of an eye and every breath of a soul.'
