حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: نَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا يَنْزِلُ الدَّجَّالُ الْمَدِينَةَ، وَلَكِنَّهُ يَنْزِلُ الْخَنْدَقَ، وَعَلَى كُلِّ نَقْبٍ مِنْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ يَحْرُسُونَهَا، فَأَوَّلُ مَنْ يَتْبَعُهُ النِّسَاءُ وَالْإِمَاءُ، فَيَذْهَبُ فَيَتْبَعُهُ النَّاسُ فَيَرُدُّونَهُ، فَيَرْجِعُ غَضْبَانَ حَتَّى يَنْزِلَ الْخَنْدَقَ، فَيَنْزِلُ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ

✧ The Dajjal will not enter Madinah, but he will descend at the trench, and at every breach there will be angels guarding it. The first to follow him will be women and female slaves. He will go and the people will follow him, but they will turn him back, so he returns angry until he descends at the trench. At that point Isa b. Maryam will descend.
