حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي، وَعَمِّي، قَالَا: نَا سُوَيْدٌ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ. عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:

طَرَقَتْنِي الْحَيْضَةُ وَأَنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ، فَانْسَلَلْتُ حَتَّى وَقَعْتُ بِالْأَرْضِ، فَقَالَ: مَا شَأْنُكِ ؟ " فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ أَنِّي حِضْتُ، " فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَشُدَّ عَلَيَّ إِزَارِي إِلَى أَنْصَافِ فَخِذِي، وَأَنْ أَرْجِعَ

✧ I was overtaken by menstruation while I was with the Messenger of Allah on his bed, so I slipped away until I was on the ground. He said: "What is the matter with you?" I told him that I had started menstruating, so he ordered me to tie my waist-wrapper up to the middle of my thighs and to come back.
