حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، قَالَ: نَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: نَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ " يَأْمُرُ بِالْبَاءَةِ، وَيَنْهَى عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ نَهْيًا شَدِيدًا "، وَيَقُولُ: تَزَوَّجُوا الْوَدُودَ الْوَلُودَ، فَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command marriage and strongly forbid celibacy, and he would say: 'Marry the loving and fertile, for I will vie with the prophets through you on the Day of Resurrection.'
