machine translationSufyān b. Ḥusayn narrates it from ʿUbaydullāh, and there is disagreement concerning him. Muḥammad b. Khālid b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ṭaḥḥān narrated it from his father, from Sufyān b. Ḥusayn, from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar. Likewise Muḥammad b. ʿAlī al-Muqaddamī narrated it from his father, from Sufyān b. Ḥusayn, from ʿUbaydullāh; Ibn Khuzaymah and others narrated it from him. And Jaʿfar b. Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. al-Ṣabbāḥ al-Jarjarāʾī related it from Muḥammad b. ʿUmar b. ʿAlī, from Sufyān b. Ḥusayn, from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĀmir, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar. The first is more authentic (aṣaḥḥ).
