✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was taken, the Arabs apostatized, hypocrisy raised its head, and there befell my father what, had it befallen the mountains, would have crushed them. By God, they did not differ on a single point except that my father flew with its fortune and its share. Then she mentioned Ibn al-Khattab and said: 'He was, by God, resourceful and unique of his kind, who had prepared for every matter its match.'
