✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent three men to Caesar, to Chosroes, and to the ruler of Alexandria, and he sent Amr b. al-As to the Negus. When Amr came to the Negus, he found that those who were with him used to enter bowing through a small door. When Amr saw the small door and their entry through it, he turned his back, then entered walking backwards. When he entered through it, he straightened up. The Abyssinians were startled and intended to kill him. They said: 'What prevented you from entering as we enter?' He said: 'We do not do that with our Prophet, and he is more deserving that it be done to him.' The Negus said: 'Leave him, he has spoken the truth.'
