حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو كَعْبٍ أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى السَّعْدِيُّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
أَنَا زَعِيمُ بَيْتٍ فِي رَبَضِ الْجَنَّةِ لِمَنْ تَرَكَ الْمِرَاءَ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُحِقًّا، وَبَيْتٍ فِي وَسَطِ الْجَنَّةِ لِمَنْ تَرَكَ الْكَذِبَ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَازِحًا، وَبَيْتٍ فِي أَعْلَى الْجَنَّةِ لِمَنْ حَسُنَ خُلُقُهُ

✧ I am the guarantor of a house in the outskirts of Paradise for one who abandons argumentation, even if he is right; and a house in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lying, even in jest; and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who makes his character excellent.
