حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خُلَيْدٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: نَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ. عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

سُتْرَةُ الْإِمَامِ سُتْرَةُ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ

Translation

  1. Aḥmad b. Khulayd
  2. Abū Tawbah al-Rabīʿ b. Nāfiʿ
  3. Sūwayd b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz
  4. ʿĀṣim al-Aḥwal
  5. Anas b. Mālik
  6. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ The sutrah of the imam is the sutrah of those behind him.
