حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُمَرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ أَبِي سِنَانٍ الدُّؤَلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا عَدْوَى فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ الْإِبِلَ تَكُونُ فِي الرَّمْلِ أَمْثَالَ الظِّبَاءِ، [ فَيَأْتِيهَا الْبَعِيرُ الْأَجْرَبُ الْأَجْرَبُ ]، فَتَجْرَبُ جَمِيعًا ؟ قَالَ: " فَمَنْ أَعْدَى الْأَوَّلَ ؟

✧ There is no contagion. A bedouin stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of camels that are in the sand like gazelles, then a mangy camel comes to them and they all become mangy?' He said: 'Then who infected the first one?'
