حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ أُبَيٍّ قَالَ:

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ فَقُلْتُ: أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ، أَنَّى عَلِمْتَ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: " بِالْآيَةِ الَّتِي حَدَّثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَحَفِظْنَاهَا "، ثُمَّ حَلَفَ لَا يَسْتَثْنِي، فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي أَنْزَلَ الْكِتَابَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ إِنَّهَا لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ.

✧ The Night of Power is the night of the twenty-seventh. I said: Abū al-Mundhir, how did you know that? He said: By the verse that the Messenger of God ﷺ mentioned and we memorized. Then he swore without exception, saying: By Him who sent down the Book upon Muḥammad ﷺ, it is indeed the night of the twenty-seventh.
