✧ Among what Allah created is a rooster whose talons are on the seventh earth, whose crest is folded beneath the Throne, and whose wings are by the two horizons. When the last third of the night remains, it beats its wings and then says: 'Glory be to the King, the Most Holy; glory be to our Lord, the King, the Most Holy; there is no god for us other than Him.' Then everything between the two horizons hears it except the two heavy species (humans and jinn). They think that roosters only beat their wings when they crow, upon hearing that.
