حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُجَاشِعِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

خَلَّفْتُكَ أَنْ تَكُونَ خَلِيفَتِي فِي أَهْلِي، قَالَ: أَتَخَلَّفُ بَعْدَكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: " أَلَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي ؟

✧ “I have left you behind to be my successor among my family.” He said: “Am I to remain behind after you, O Prophet of God?” He said: “Are you not pleased that you are to me of the station of Hārūn from Mūsā, except that there is no prophet after me?”
