حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ: نَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَلَّادٍ الزُّرَقِيُّ قَالَ:

دَخَلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ، فَقَالَ: أَلَا أُرِيكُمْ كَيْفَ تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، وَكَيْفَ صَلَّى ؟ قُلْنَا: بَلَى، " فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، وَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا، وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مُقْبِلًا وَمُدْبِرًا، وَأَمَسَّ أُذُنَيْهِ، وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ ثَوْبًا، فَاشْتَمَلَ بِهِ، وَصَلَّى "، وَقَالَ: " هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ حِبِّي رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ وَيُصَلِّي

✧ We entered upon Abdullah b. Unays, and he said: 'Shall I show you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution, and how he prayed?' We said: 'Yes.' So he washed his hands three times, rinsed his mouth and sniffed water into his nostrils three times, washed his face and his arms up to the elbows three times, wiped his head from front to back, and touched his ears, and washed his feet three times. Then he took a garment and wrapped it around himself and prayed. And he said: 'This is how I saw my beloved, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, perform ablution and pray.'
