حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ: نَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ الْغَازِ قَالَ: أَنَا عُبَادَةُ بْنُ نُسَيٍّ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
رِبَاطُ يَوْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ صِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أُجِيرَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ، وَجَرَى عَلَيْهِ صَالِحُ عَمَلِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ Ribāṭ for one day in the path of God is better than fasting a month and standing in prayer during it. Whoever dies as a murabit in the path of God will be protected from the trial of the grave, and his righteous deeds will continue to run for him until the Day of Resurrection.
