حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَيَانٍ الْمُطَرِّزُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ صَالِحُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَشَهِدْتَ بَيْعَةَ الرِّضْوَانِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قُلْتُ: فَمَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ ؟ قَالَ: " قَمِيصٌ مِنْ قُطْنٍ، وَجُبَّةٌ مَحْشُوَّةٌ، وَرِدَاءٌ، وَسَيْفٌ، وَرَأَيْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ مُقَرِّنٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ قَائِمًا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، قَدْ رَفَعَ أَغْصَانَ الشَّجَرَةِ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ، وَالنَّاسُ يُبَايِعُونَهُ

✧ I said to Ibn Umar: 'Did you witness the Pledge of Ridwan with the Messenger of God ﷺ?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'What was he wearing?' He said: 'A cotton shirt, a stuffed jubbah, a cloak, and a sword. I saw al-Nu'man b. Muqarrin al-Muzani standing at his head, holding up the branches of the tree over his head while the people were pledging allegiance to him.'
