✧ A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and confessed to adultery, and she was pregnant. He delayed her for a year until she gave birth. Then he ordered that her clothes be fastened tightly around her, then he ordered that she be stoned. Then he prayed over her. A man said to him: 'Do you pray over her when she committed adultery and you stoned her?' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'She has repented with such a repentance that if seventy of the people of Madinah repented with it, it would be accepted from them. Have you found anything better than that she gave up her own life?'
