حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الطَّلْحِيُّ قَالَ: نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ: نَا يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ جَارِيَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ:
جَاءَ أُبَيٌّ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَانَ مِنِّي اللَّيْلَةَ شَيْءٌ إِنَّ نِسَاءً اجْتَمَعْنَ فِي دَارِي لَا يَقْرَأْنَ، فَصَلَّيْتُ بِهِنَّ ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ، ثُمَّ أَوْتَرْتُ، فَسَكَتَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَكَانَ شِبْهَ الرِّضَا

✧ Ubayy came and said: O Messenger of God, something happened from me tonight: some women gathered in my house who do not recite, so I prayed eight rak'ahs with them, then I performed witr. The Prophet ﷺ remained silent, as if in approval.
