✧ ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ al-Sadūsī

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّهُ مَشَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِإِهَالَةٍ سَنِخَةٍ، وَخُبْزٍ وَشَعِيرٍ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا أَصْبَحَ فِي آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَاعٌ مِنْ بُرٍّ، وَلَا صَاعٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ ". وَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَهْلُ تِسْعَةِ أَبْيَاتٍ
Translation

✧ He walked to the Messenger of God ﷺ with rancid fat, bread, and barley. He used to say: 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, the family of Muhammad does not wake up with a ṣāʿ of wheat, nor a ṣāʿ of dates.' At that time, they were the people of nine households.
